Click the Events shortcut in the Overview panel of your Dashboard and choose the New button below the list of coming events. Or choose the Publish tab anywhere in your Business Control Panel, click the Events link or the Event Schedule panel, and choose the New Event button to open the event editor.
Choose up to 10 dates by clicking on them in the Calendar. To cancel the selection of a date simply click on it again.
Enter an event title.
To include a photo with your listing, click the 'Browse' button and locate a '.jpg' file you'd like to use.
In the Event Details field, use the editing toolbar to format your description. Your Event Details should include: a complete description of the event, contact information, admission fees, etc.
Enter any relevant contact details - website, email and contact phone - in the corresponding fields
If tickets can be purchased online from a Marketplace Item or outside web page, you can enter the URL of the ticket-purchase page in the Ticket URL field and name the text link to the ticket purchase page in the Ticket Label field.
Enter the address where the event will be taking place and click Map It to create a push-pin on the ma, or you can uncheck the Show Map box.
Check the corresponding boxes to add the event to the community events calendar and to enable an RSVP submission form.
Click the Add Event button to save your event and return to your Events list.
In the Events list, you can choose from four options next to each release in your history:
The magnifying glass icon shows you a preview of how the Event page will appear to users
The people icon displays a list of RSVPs and their details
The pencil icon opens the Event for editing
The red “x” icon (followed by Yes in the confirmation dialog that opens) deletes the Event
The green swish icon opens a new Event using the selected Event as a template, should you want to make a new Event with only minor edits to an older one
The mail icon opens a new Newsletter populated with the details of your event, for sending to your subscribers. You can edit the newsletter before sending if you wish
Shortcut Tip: you can access and edit any coming event by clicking the Events shortcut in the Overview panel of your Dashboard, then clicking the event you wish to edit. If you have more events than fit in the preview window, click the More... button below the list to go to your complete list of events.
